Information and Studio Policy

All students will be invited to the Kristy’s Voice Studio Facebook Group and Google Calendar so you may receive announcements, communicate with other students, and see your and others’ lesson times. ALL COMMUNICATION from Kristy will be sent through the Facebook Group, so please subscribe to notifications.

Cancellations, Swaps, Rescheduling, and Tardiness
•Please check your schedules at the beginning of each month for events (auditions, tech week, etc) that may conflict with your lesson time. Plan accordingly, first by trying to swap lesson times with a fellow student (via the FB group). Once a lesson swap has been set, please let Kristy know and she will update the Google Calendar. If a swap is not possible and if notice is well enough in advance, absences can be arranged with Kristy and an adjustment can be made to that month’s payment.

•If you must cancel or reschedule a lesson, you must notify Kristy in writing (Facebook or text) a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the lesson (but preferably, further in advance). Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours before the lesson will not be rescheduled or refunded.

•Each student may reschedule ONE cancelled lesson per semester (Sept-Dec, Jan-March, Apr-June) — Kristy will provide no more than three options for a makeup lesson. Additional cancellations cannot be rescheduled or refunded. A rescheduled lesson cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

•Any lesson cancelled by Kristy, of course, will be made up.

•There are no refunds, makeups, or lesson extensions for tardiness. Your lesson time is reserved for you, and the time on either side is needed for others.

•Voice lessons should be paid by cash, check, or Paypal (sent to Full payment for a month’s lessons is due by the first lesson of each month. Failure to pay as requested will mean you forfeit your lesson time to someone on the waitlist. If payment is financially problematic for you, however, please contact Kristy to make another arrangement.

•Adjustments to the monthly payment can be arranged to accommodate absences known well in advance (for school events, auditions, tech week, etc).

•Other services offered (college admissions counseling, etc) will be paid a la carte.
